And now we are working on...

AAC language

The AAC, also called Augmentative and alternative communication, is a particular tool for teachers that must face some particular cognitive difficulties of their students. The AAC language has been longly tested in several countries and it can be really useful to manage in many context of difficult learning, but it's poor of symbols that can be useful to history teaching. We reunite a group of history teachers, educators, and cognitive specialist to provide them!

How did we approached to history?

Actually, a lot of us are historians, professors or history teachers, but once we have been all children. Which were the occasion when we approached History? If we could understand how important have been some experience made in childhood, and who have been the persons that influenced more our passion, it would be helpful to select with always more precision the direction to follow with our research, and which kind of materials would be useful to produce for schools and teachers.

Ancient Rome

We think that every history course should begin with personal and local history. We fell lucky to live in Italy, since our landscape is pointed by silent witnesses of our past that remind us how our ancestors loved this country. This imposes us to take care of it. Rome is one of the milestone of our history: we are working on a project that can tell the history of Rome at school matching phisical and virtual reconstruction, apps and videos. Currently, we are developing this project together with some of the most important scholar of Roman history, and dynamical software and publishing house.
