Areas of Interest

We are interested into History teaching and promotion of an informed historical knowledge. Our idea is to apply the best pedagogical practices in history teaching, in order to bring the subject from academy to school, looking for a respectful simplification without stereotypes. In this way we want to make history more accessible to our students, and help them to comprehend it at best. In particular, we focus on cognitive activity and forms on which is based the learning of history. This lead us to spend our efforts in many directions.

Keep update about historical research on selected topics linkable with history courses, (especially Ancient History).

Experiment many pedagogical approaches, in order to find the best ones which can improve history lessons.

Keep abreast of technological innovations, apps and devices, and their possible use in educational context.
